What do we have here? A golden boy and a golden boot – teaming up once more. David Beckham, the man who could bend a ball around the world, is back with Adidas. David Beckham x Adidas. And they have cooked up a right proper treat.

The Predator 24.

A new-school soccer cleat. The shoe was two years in the making, and probably the biggest point of note is – the Trefoil featuring on a Predator boot. According to Adidas, “…they’re the first Predators ever to display a Trefoil on the tongue. A Fusionskin leather upper offers comfortable lockdown, while a Controlframe 2.0 outsole delivers domination on firm ground.”

The rubber elements typically found on the Predator 24 tongue have been replaced with all-Fusionskin leather and includes an embroidered Trefoil, adding a more premium feel. The reverse side of the tongue is completed with an Adidas x David Beckham sign-off.

Another notable point is that the product features at least 20% recycled materials.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the two have teamed up. Back in the day, they were the dynamic duo of football. And this new collaboration feels a bit like a reunion tour – an opportunity to relive the glory days, while also looking towards the future.

So, is this new Predator boot the real deal? Or is it just a bit of nostalgia? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: it’s got us very excited.
